Lunch Time

We offer our children the choice of either a freshly cooked school lunch or the option to bring their own packed lunch from home.    Healthy eating is at the heart of our philosophy, and we encourage children to choose healthy options whether they have a lovely lunch cooked by our Chef Nicole Rattenbury, or bring in a packed lunch.

Nursery children can stay to our lunch club and they too can choose either a school lunch, or to bring in a packed lunch.      The nursery children eat together in 'The Kids Club' room, with our Nursery staff and Midday Assistants to help them.

Main school children break for lunch at noon, and those who have a school lunch eat together in the Annexe Hall.    Children who bring in packed lunches eat together in the Main Hall.

After lunch all the children play outside in our playgrounds where a wide-range of activities are available.      We have lots of sports equipment, outdoor games, parachutes - to list just some of the choices the children can make.     For those wanting quiet play time there are shaded areas with colouring, reading, puppet theatres.

We play outside in all weathers - unless it is very heavy rain!    Please ensure your child/ren come to school with a rain coat and wellies.

School lunches currently cost £2 per meal, £10 per week.      Payment is preferred monthly, and we prefer payment to be made online.      Alternatively, Parents may pay at the School Office.
