Catch-up Premium

Children and young people across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus and we know that those from the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds will be among those hardest hit.  

The Department for Education (DfE) has allocated £650 million to be spent on ensuring all pupils have the chance to catch up and supporting schools to enable them to do so. 

Below is our plan detailing our response to the barriers and gaps that have emerged during lockdown.
