Operation EncompassCapture

West Ewell Primary School has taken the opportunity to partner with Surrey Police to participate in the Operation Encompass scheme.

Operation Encompass is designed to provide early reporting on any domestic incidents that occur outside of school that may impact on a child’s wellbeing and access to learning in school.

The scheme requires the police to report to the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) after a domestic incident. The DSL is fully aware of the sensitivity and confidentiality of such information and will handle this information responsibly in accordance with our internal information sharing protocol to ensure that children receive the care and support they may need during the school day.

This scheme enhances our school commitment to ensure every child succeeds by providing timely and high quality pastoral care that improves the wellbeing and safety of all our children. Further information is available on the Operation Encompass website.
