Nursery Admissions

We have two areas in our Nursery - APPLE Class is for children aged 3-4 years and PEAR Class is for children aged 2-3 years.

APPLE Class Admissions to start in September 2022 (for children born between 1st September 2018 and 31st August 2019)

Parents will be notified if they have been allocated a nursery place by the end of March 2022. You are welcome to apply after that time, but you may be placed on a waiting list.

PEAR Class Admissions to start in September 2022 (for children born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020)

Parents will be notified if they have been allocated a nursery place by the end of May 2022. You are welcome to apply after that time, but you may be placed on a waiting list. PEAR Class places are chargeable unless your child qualifies for FEET funding.

If we have space in our nursery, we can admit children throughout the academic year. If you have any questions please contact the school office and we will be happy to help. You can download an application form for the relevant academic year below.

Please note that children attending the nursery at West Ewell Primary School will not automatically secure a Reception place at the school in the year that they turn 5. There is a separate admissions process to join Reception (please see the Main School Admissions section above). Reception places will be offered based on the published admissions criteria. No preferential treatment is given to those attending the nursery at West Ewell Primary School.

Yr 1 have been practising early division skills by sharing in maths. They worked with a partner to share cookies and explored by using cubes individually, sharing a set amount between 2, 3 or 4. They were so proud to have shared, fairly, into equal groups! https://t.co/h7BSmDFmHF

Maple’s DT project this half term is making puppets. They learned about types of puppets and planned and designed their chosen idea. They made a prototype from paper before using a range of materials to make their puppet. We will continue the project by evaluating our work. 🔧 https://t.co/6cjVGn2uKs
